From the moment the harvest begins, a dream is set in motion. The months of hard work and planning start to take hold as the initial steps in the winemaking process begin. As everyone knows, no two years are ever alike, which always provides for new challenges and exciting expectations. It is with this excitement that the winemaking team approaches every harvest; enthusiastic with the promise of great wines to come.

Mario Testa has been the winemaker at Willow Springs Winery since 2001. His Italian background is what set his winemaking career in motion. With his father, Gino Testa, and Grandfather, Emilio Testa, as his mentors, Mario’s passion for wine took hold. With his eye constantly set on the future, one can expect the best is yet to come.

Jorge Almeida joined the winemaking team in 2006. Born in the wine regions of Portugal, excitement and passion run through his veins. Uncompromising in his belief, Jorge feels that the next harvest will always be better than the one before. He is extremely proud to be a part of the winemaking team.
